Sri Sathya Sai School, Althan, Surat, was established on 9th July 2000, with the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Inspired and guided by His vision, the school began with 108 students from Nursery to Std. 1. Today 634 students are enrolled with us from Nursery to Std. XII.
Our school is affiliated with the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar.
It provides a nurturing environment where teachers are trained in Education in Human Values instilling academic and moral excellence. Students enjoy various activities, including yoga, karate, dance, drama, music, drawing, craft, bhajans, Veda chanting and weekly Balvikas classes that imbibe values in children through shlokas, songs, and stories. Fully equipped with modern facilities like a computer lab, the school continues to be a home away from home for its students.

For holistic development, our school organises various activities like vedam chanting, bhajans, jyoti dhyan for spiritual development, various sports, yoga, karate for physical development and balvikas for character development. Teachers imbibe values in students in their regular teaching subjects. For this teachers are given special training in Education in human values by the Sri Sathya Sai National Council for Schools, India.

"શ્રી પ્રશાંતિ ચેરીટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટ, સુરત હેઠળ ચાલતી શ્રી સત્ય સાઈ સ્કૂલમાં છેલ્લા 15 વર્ષથી ટીચર તરીકે ફરજ બજાવું છું. આ દરમિયાન જે અનુભવ થયો છે તે શબ્દોમાં વર્ણવવું મુશ્કેલ છે. આ સ્કૂલમાં મારી દીકરી ધોરણ 10 સુધી ભણેલી છે અને હવે મારો દીકરો ધોરણ 6માં અભ્યાસ કરી રહ્યો છે.
મારું આ સંસ્થાની સાથે જોડાણ 2009 માં પેરેન્ટ મીટીંગ દરમિયાન શરૂ થયું. બાબાના સેવા કાર્ય અને શૈક્ષણિક તથા આધ્યાત્મિક પ્રવૃત્તિઓથી પ્રભાવિત થઈ, હું આ સંસ્થામાં સેવા આપવા પ્રેરાઈ. સંસ્થાના વડા શ્રી મનોહરભાઈના માર્ગદર્શનથી મને અહીં જોડાવાનો મોકો મળ્યો.
આ સ્કૂલ અન્ય સ્કૂલોથી અલગ છે, જ્યાં માત્ર અભ્યાસ જ નહીં, જીવન જીવવા માટેના મૂલ્ય આધારિત શિક્ષણ પણ આપવામાં આવે છે. આ જીવનમૂલ્યો બાળકોને ભવિષ્યમાં મદદરૂપ થાય છે. અહીં શિક્ષક તરીકે મને મારા આંતરિક ગુણો વિકસાવવાની તક મળી છે.
